Bill Linton is Chief Financial Officer, Rogers Communications Inc. Prior to that he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Call-Net Enterprises Inc. which was acquired by Rogers Communications Inc. in July 2005. Bill joined Call-Net in 2000.

Bill has extensive experience in the high technology sector. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prior Data Services, Inc. Bill managed the sale of the company to X-wave Solutions. At SHL Systemhouse Inc., Bill served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and for sixteen years he rose through increasingly senior roles at Rogers Communications Inc. to the position of Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Rogers Cantel.

Bill has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Mary's University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
