Rogers real time, on-demand web conferencing gives you the flexibility to share applications and web sites, take surveys, annotate presented content, chat with participants, lock your conference for added security, send files in real time and record your web and audio conference. All you need is Internet access and a basic telephone line to conduct collaborative electronic meetings.
Features
Roster
The moderator may enable or disable the Roster for participants, which determines whether or not participants are able to see who is connected to the web conference and send chat messages or files to other participants.
Lock Conference
The moderator may lock the web conference to prevent other participants from joining. The moderator may unlock the session at any time.
Participant Interaction Tools
Participants may raise their hand and use text chat via the user interface.
Full Screen
The moderator and participants may expand their viewing windows to the full extent of their screen.
Make Presenter
The moderator may make any other meeting participant a presenter at any time during the meeting and regain presentation control at any time.
Presentations
The moderator may upload and store up to 10 Microsoft Office documents (PowerPoint Word, Excel) directly to the meeting (ahead of time or just-in-time). Use the pointer and marker to mark up the slides while presenting
Application Sharing
The moderator may show or share any application on their computer to the web conference participants. Control can be provided by the moderator to one or multiple participants in the meeting to allow them to remotely control their mouse. Moderators also have the choice to show or share their entire Desktop or select specific applications.
Surveys and Poling
The moderator may create a custom survey (ahead of time or just-in-time) for their web conference participants. Surveys allow for an unlimited number of possible responses and generate anonymous results from the participants. Survey results can be kept private and printed or shared with the participants.
Text Chat
The moderator may send a text chat to all the participants, to an individual participant or to participants designated as part of the Questions and Answers group
Record and Playback
The moderator may record the web conference capturing all PowerPoint presentation content, annotations and application sharing session activity. The playback is available after the event and synchronizes both the web and audio conference. The moderator may download the recording to his computer and deliver it to participants who need to access the playback. The recording plays back to the user in a Macromedia Flash file.
File Transfer
The moderator may send a file to all the participants or to individual participants. When a file is sent, the participant is prompted to open the chat window and clicks on a link to receive the file. If the Roster is available to participants, they are also able to send a file to all or to an individual user.
In-Meeting Invitation
The moderator may invite additional participants from within a running meeting. Invitations may also be sent ahead of time using the Outlook add-in.
