How to activate Mobile Backup:
|
|
Mobile Backup is a mobile application which is downloaded and installed on Mobile Backup supported phones.
To download Mobile Backup:
|
- Select the mobile browser (Internet) button on your phone (no charges apply)
- Select UR Services > Do More from the mobile Internet homepage and then select MOBILE BACKUP
- Select the Mobile Backup Plan you wish to subscribe to and follow the prompts
|
|
Once the application is downloaded and setup, Mobile Backup will automatically start backing up your contacts
on a weekly basis. You may also auto-sync your content as well as select a custom daily, weekly or monthly
backup schedule from the auto-backup menu. Select SETUP > AUTO SYNC from the Mobile Backup Main Menu on your
phone.

How to restore content:
|
|
|
If you ever lose, damage or replace your cell phone, Mobile Backup enables you to easily restore your information to your new phone in three simple steps:
|
|
- Download Mobile Backup (as outlined above) to your new phone
- Login with your phone number and PIN created when you first activated Mobile Backup. If you are unable to remember your PIN, go to mobile backup to have it sent to you.
- From the Mobile Backup main menu, click SYNC. This will add all the data from your latest backup to your new phone.
|

NOTE: If you change/upgrade phone models, there is a chance some content will not be able to be transferred, as your new phone may not support the same file formats as your old phone.
|
