Effective July 7, 2009, unless customers subscribe to a text messaging plan, messaging bundle or Value Pack that includes text messaging, they will be charged for all non-premium received text messages at a pay-per-use rate of $0.15 each (plus applicable taxes). All other aspects of your service remain the same.
The rate for sending a text message while traveling outside of Canada will increase to $0.75 per text message plus applicable taxes, effective July 7, 2009. All other aspects of your service remain the same. Roaming usage is charged on a per minute basis and is rounded up to the next minute. All charges are billed directly to your Rogers Wireless account in Canadian funds. Select calls may appear on your invoice up to 120 days after they were made. GPRS data services are offered on a 'per-Operator' basis in countries where GPRS roaming is available. This means you must select the Operator on your wireless device to access GPRS services. Where several GPRS operators are available, Rogers recommends manually selecting a network ( see user guide of your device) to help reduce GPRS roaming costs. Rates are subject to change. |
