This is a piece of equipment provided by Rogers which is connected directly to the cable input and then plugs into your computer. This modem allows you to access the internet through Rogers cable. |
Modem Configuration†: |

This refers to the speed you will receive when connected to the Rogers network. Download speed refers to the speed at which web pages and files are downloaded from the Internet to your computer. Upload speed refers to the speed at which a file can be uploaded (to your web server, for example) from the Internet. |
Rogers E-mail Accounts: |

Upon activation you will be provided with details on how to set up your primary and secondary e-mail addresses. These accounts are @rogers.com accounts so they'll look like this: yourname@rogers.com. If you would prefer custom e-mail accounts (yourname@yourcompany.com), please see Hosting Options and Custom E-mail section below. |

Rogers provides a storage option which allows you to back-up or share files from your computer. A simple interface provides you with the ability to easily save copies of valuable documents and files. |

Hosting Options and Custom E-mail: |

Rogers offers a range of web-hosting options which allow you to easily create and manage a web site. If you have a business but do not require a web site, you may want to consider an inexpensive hosting package which will still allow you to have your own custom e-mail accounts (yourname@yourcompany.com). |
