Rogers is proud to support the following organizations, which do so much to ensure that the communities in which we live and work are healthy, vital and caring:
Rogers Communications has a long-standing history of support for this remarkable Toronto community based centre, which offers services to people affected by severe eating and body image issues. Sheena's Place was founded in 1993 in response to the death of Sheena Carpenter, a young woman afflicted with anorexia nervosa.
Rogers Communications Inc. is very pleased to have forged a new relationship with Casey House in Toronto. Casey House Hospice has been providing support for people living with HIV/AIDS since 1988, and we're proud to be able to help out both a leading facility in respite care, and one of our closest neighbours.
Rogers Wireless is a great supporter of the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton. We also host and sponsor one of the institutes most prestigious and successful charity golf tournaments in Alberta. Employees from both the Edmonton and Calgary offices lend a helping hand at these events. Since 1989, Rogers Wireless has donated various prizes to the tournaments and has helped raise over $1 million.
