Community Support

Community Development
Rogers employees live, work and play in the communities we share with you. Their passion for community involvement equals their commitment to serving you. Through the dedication and vision of our employees, Rogers is forging long-lasting partnerships with you. Together, we will ensure that our communities grow strong.

The United Way
The United Way
The Rogers Group of companies has a long-standing association with the United Way. In addition to holding employee campaigns throughout our various divisions, Rogers Communications Inc. donates directly to over 25 regional branches of the United Way.
We are very proud to be able to support this outstanding national organization, which helps maintain the quality of life in our communities by giving people a helping hand in times of need.
Phones for Food
Rogers contributes to food banks in many communities throughout the year and, in addition, Rogers Wireless and Fido are national sponsors of the Phones-For-Food program in partnership with the Canadian Association of Food Banks (CAFB).
The Phones-for-Food program was launched in 2003 as an initiative by the CAFB to help
alleviate hunger and divert electronic waste from landfill sites. Since the partnership began over $300,000 has been generated for food banks across the country. One donated wireless device, depending on its age and condition, can generate up to $5 for food banks - equivalent to the cost of a jar of peanut butter or carton of milk.
And it is easier than ever to donate: all new Rogers and Fido wireless devices now come with a postage-paid recycling envelope. Or, visit Rogers Video or Rogers Wireless stores to use the donation boxes.
