From sponsoring literary awards to supporting critical ChildFind services, at Rogers we believe in connecting with our communities in many ways. Our support includes contributions we make to several focus areas:
Across these focus areas, we place a special emphasis on children and youth. Many of our community dollars are aimed at helping protect, develop and enhance the lives of children and young people.
Outreach, helping hands and gifts-in-kind
In addition to corporate donations, we also perform extensive outreach and our community-spirited employees volunteer and fundraise extensively for causes that complement our expertise and resources. For example, our staff operate the Rogers Pumpkin Patrol to keep kids safe each Halloween; Rogers is the national Wireless sponsor of the Phones-for-Food program; and Rogers Television stations teach production skills, so that community members can create local programming.
We also provide in-kind resources to many non-profit groups. As one example, Rogers Media donates advertising space or airtime to charitable organizations in its magazines and television and radio stations.
These are just a few examples of how Rogers and our dedicated employees are connecting with – and making a lasting impact – in communities from coast to coast.
